April, 2006
April 2006 - Katharine Kubichan was invited to sit on a panel to speak to the San Diego chapter of MANA, a Latina organization that promotes leadership within the Latina community through leadership development, community service and advocacy. She addressed core issues regarding high school and college education, writing, language and communication styles and skills, as well as the need for awareness surrounding cultural diversity in business. Kubichan also touched base on personal and professional opportunities for these young women to volunteer in the local and international arenas at a young age.

“Katharine is a passionate speaker and interacts well with audiences of all ages. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of international business and her experiences of working and living overseas. She really encouraged our “hermanitas” to follow their dreams and learn more about our global village,” says Gisele Thomason, a VP at SAIC and a Mentor in the MANA organization.
