April 4, 2006 - Kubichan Communications has been awarded a contract for managing global media and public relations with Project Concern International’s (PCI) Africa Forum, an international community organization with offices in 12 countries worldwide, aiming to prevent disease, promote community health and sustainable development.

The 2006 Zambia Forum, a unique conference that focuses on workshops and on-site visits to local communities to combat the HIV/AIDS epidemic and food scarcity in Africa, is the focus of this contract. “We worked closely with Katharine and her team last July in Bolivia and were impressed by her efforts to secure global media coverage that included CNN, Reuters and Telemundo. Her global vision and passion to make change is not only a part of her character but a strong focus of her firm,” says David George, vice president of marketing and development at PCI. “We are thrilled to have Kubichan Communications on our team again for this very unique and interactive Forum in Lusaka, Zambia.”

Kubichan Communications will be responsible for the creation of press releases, PR campaigns, speaking points, and all media outreach and communications to promote and create awareness for the Africa Forum.
