September 24, 2005 - Katharine Kubichan has been selected as the United Nations Association of San Diego’s (UNA-SD) President-Elect. Kubichan has been a dedicated and passionate member of UNA-SD since 2000, holding positions on the board and chairing the Marketing, Public Relations and Community Relations Committee.

“For a number of years UNA-SD has been significant aspect in my life. I have seen UNA-SD develop and grow and I am honored that I have been entrusted by this organization to lead this establishment further,” says Kubichan.

Her contributions to UNA-SD include chairing the chapter’s annual UN Day fundraiser for the past five years. Her firm, Kubichan Communications, also provides marketing and public relations for the San Diego Model UN Events, UNICEF events, UN Charter Day, and many other educational events.
