The event is booked for late April and Katharine Kubichan will target the cultural and international community in San Diego and Orange County.

Born into a large Mexican American family in Texas, Tish's music clearly displays multicultural influences and eloquently harmonizes her Mexican and American upbringing. Her seminal 1992 album, Culture Swing, received a NAIRD Indie Award for Folk Album of the Year. Tish was recognized by Fox Television's Bravo Honors in 1995 for creating one of the year's most important Spanish language albums (Frontejas). She has performed at the White House for President and Ms. Clinton, has performed at presidential and gubernatorial inauguration events, before the Texas legislature and at conferences on finding areas of cooperation between the U. S. and Mexico.

"Tish's style is quite unique and seems to reach out to many different cultures here in the south west and west coast. Due to a largely Mexican population in the southern Californian region, the challenge of building awareness for this event will not be a difficult task. Targeting specific multicultural organizations and news groups will be a great part of our promotional channels, "says Katharine Kubichan, president of Kubichan Communications.
