Project Concern International and Kubichan Communications join forces internationally for HIV/AIDS awareness and education.
December 10, 2004 – Project Concern International and Kubichan Communications join forces to build new campaigns internationally for HIV/AIDS awareness and education.
Project Concern International (PCI) headquartered in San Diego, CA and Kubichan Communications, LLC have made a pact to work with one another and PCI’s disease prevention programs to build positive change and further AIDS education internationally. David George, Vice President of Marketing and Development at PCI and Katharine Kubichan President of Kubichan Communications are spearheading the effort.
“When Katharine and I met, we realized we both had similar backgrounds in corporate America, launching marketing and PR campaigns and fundraising and it only seemed natural to put our skill set and humanitarian interests together and create change,” says David George. Katharine’s firm presented Jeran Design’s Hollywood Graffiti AIDS Gown to PCI and immediately the team began working on International opportunities for both projects, that of the gown and PCI’s programs overseas.
“We are very excited about the prospects of working on projects in potentially Bolivia, Mexico and India with PCI. I am personally proud of the volunteer work I have done in the community here for over 10 years and being able to combine work with good causes is truly an honor. Plus, working with such a reputable organization like PCI, makes our efforts that much more worth while,” says Katharine Kubichan.
Project Concern is an international health organization that saves the lives of children and families in need around the world by preventing disease and providing access to clean water and nutritious food. We reach over three million people a year with programs in Bolivia, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Nicaragua, the United States, and Zambia.
