Katharine Kubichan is asked to speak to SDSU's Women in Trade Organization and to San Diego's Women in Trade Professional Organization

Katharine Kubichan Shares Valuable Advice and Experiences Regarding the International Business Environment.

SAN DIEGO - November 19, 2003 - Kubichan Communications LLC, a premier San Diego based marketing, public relations, and business development firm, today announced that Katharine Kubichan, the founder of Kubichan Communications has been asked to speak about and address international business issues and her achievements to the San Diego Chapter of Women in Trade (OWIT) and San Diego State University's OWIT organization, on November 20th, 2003. Katharine will share her background, education and address her international business experience and knowledge. In addition, she will speak about the projects with which she has led in international business development, international marketing, brand positioning and public relations on a global level. Katharine is a firm believer in sharing what she has learned, the valuable resources she relies on, and motivating others to enter the international business environment.

Aside from sharing her experiences living abroad and while employed at QUALCOMM, Lightbridge, and her community efforts with The World Affairs Council and the World Trade Center, Katharine will also specifically share her role as a member of the Executive Board of The United Nations Association-San Diego. Katharine will elaborate on the efforts and achievements the organization makes locally and internationally.

With main offices in New York City and Washington, there are almost 200 chapters nationwide; San Diego is the 6th largest. The San Diego Chapter (UNA-SD) was founded in 1946. Located in the heart of Balboa Park, the UN Building has been home to UNA-SD since 1960. Former First Lady and UN delegate, Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt, encouraged the San Diego City Council to provide the lease during her visit to San Diego in 1960.
